In almost every walk of life people get rewarded for conducting themselves in a friendly or professional manner, and the I.B.A. feel that members that provide outstanding service over a specified time period, should also be rewarded.

The Gold Crest is only awarded to companies that have been a member of the I.B.A. for at least twelve months, and without a substantiated complaint being lodged against them, and even then it is not guaranteed, it has to be applied for and awarded.

Any company displaying the I.B.A. Gold Crest on their literature or website is doing so because they have conducted their business affairs in an ethical and professional manner throughout the I.B.A. evaluation period, or longer?

Gold Crest members are constantly monitored by the I.B.A. and their conduct has to meet extremely high standards on a consistent basis in order to retain their Gold Crest status.

The Gold Crest is not an award that once you have it, you have it for life. You have to work hard to obtain it and just as hard to retain it and it is by no means permanent.

The Gold Crest was introduced by the I.B.A. as a form of acknowledgement to those members that have provided excellent customer services on a consistent basis, and continue to do so. It is a step-up from standard membership a yardstick of excellence...

We are aware that once companies have joined us and experienced the benefits for themselves, as well as attaining the status and credibility that membership brings, they quite often want to raise their standards even higher, the Gold Crest is their next level of achievement...

The I.B.A. offers support to all Members in their quest to attain the
